1. Water retention:
This is not exactly a weight gain but often people who are trying to lose weight got scared when their body retain water, thinking that they have gain weight.
When you take the higher intake of salt or sodium via processed food such as junk food, fast food, chips, etc. our body retains a few extra pounds of water however this weight gain subside when your sodium intake returns to normal.
