Name: Hattie Williams
Born: 19th April
Height: 175cm
About Yourself:- I was born in New Zealand and sports have always played an important part in my life; from
swimming at national level when I was 15yrs to ski instructing in California at 18yrs.
After graduating with a BBS in Sports Management my professional career has progressed within the Sports Industry.
Highlights include working for the Super Dome at the Sydney Olympics 2000, for IMG
(International Management Group) X-Sports Division in Los Angeles running extreme urban sports events, to
currently working for Specialized Bikes in the UK.
I escape to the Alps to snowboard and mountain bike as much as possible and love to free dive in the warm waters
of Thailand or hang ten surfing in Southern California.
Further to my career I have qualified in Sports Therapy and Holistic Massage and have a friendly client base of
Ironman triathletes and cyclists.
Any Awards(optional): BBS Sports Management, Diploma in Holistic Massage, Diploma in Sports Therapy and Reiki
Level 1, PSIA Level 2.
Present Lifestyle: I am an avid cyclist in London and cycle to work 3 times per week; 70-90miles per week.
Sometimes I go for a 30min jog at lunchtime to breathe fresh air.
I also try to fit in a yoga session in every week (great for stretching) and get out in the forest mountain biking on a
Sunday.
Advice /suggestion for the readers: It is super important to eat a balanced diet, not too many carbs but a lot of
fruit and vegetables and exercise at least 4 times for 40mins+ per week.
Lay off the beer for a few weeks and you will notice a difference! Exercise can be fun and cycling is a great form of
transport that will help you to burn calories and increase your fitness level.
