Meditation Practice



Q1).I am addicted to smoking cigarettes. How can I get out of habit of smoking cigarette by meditation practice?


When you practise Meditation, you can experience yourself that your addiction is not actually to that cigarette . It seems as if
you are addicted to cigarettes, alcohol, drugs. But actually, you are addicted to a particular sensation in the body, By meditation
you can help yourself to get out of it.

Also if you try to understand intellectually, you can see that normally habit of drinking or smoking is the way we normally try to
refuge from our day to day problem asking our self this question say 10 times in a day, are we the quitter in our life, can also help
you to get out of this habit.  



Q2) How can I come out of
anger by meditation practice?


With the practice of Meditation. Whenever you get angry next time start trying to
observe your breath with equanimity, with no reaction. The anger soon weakens
and passes away. Through continued practice of Meditation you can help yourself.

Apart from this observing yourself in day to day life is the another best way to get out of anger. Ask yourself when human gets
angry. If you understand this answer perhaps it could bring instant change inside you. It is process; the more you understand life
the calmer you will be. What is more important is how quickly you can get out of anger.




Q3) I am always full of
anxiety. Can Meditation help me?

I will say take a two way approach. One meditation can do help you to certain extent
however you need to understand the cause as well which is creating this anxiety and
have to take the action for solving it. Meditation can also help you to liberate you from
all Anxiety and worry but it depends how deep your practice is.

The only thing you have to keep into your mind is that you do not have to depend on any guru to help you out. Help yourself. God
helps those who help themselves. Discuss the issue with others but make your own decision and take action which is possible
to solve the cause of your anxiety.
